Pioneer Day

We had a great Pioneer Day! I convinced Luke to go to the parade in Bountiful on the 23rd. It was hot, but parades are always fun and summer just isn't summer without one! That night, we went to the fireworks in Bountiful and they were awesome! Noah loved them, of course. We stayed in Bountiful that night and got up early so Grandpa Steve could take us all boating! It was such a fun day, but so tiring! Noah loved the water and playing in the sand. He also ended up taking a good hour long nap on Grandma's lap... in the boat. I'm sure the rocking and water sounds helped a little.

The kids loved it, but hated the life jackets! It was so hard to move his chubby little face! Noah would look from side to side when someone would say his name and really struggled with the jacket, but isn't he just so cute? I have a picture of my little brother looking like this in an oversized hat and jacket somewhere, probably a little older than Noah is now, but they look so much alike sometimes!

Loving the sand!
