Winter Fun

Spending last weekend at the Moon Family Cabin gave us a chance to use Noah's snowsuit! Thanks to Debby and Wendell for being so hospitable. We had such a fun time!

Noah's Favorite

A long time ago, before Noah joined us, Luke and I started a funny way of telling each other, "I Love You." We just say, "You are my favorite." Then Noah came along and now I have two favorites! And Luke is definetly Noah's favorite. It's true... Noah loves his daddy! His face lights up whenever Luke walks in the room. There are even some nights when Noah does his "I want nothing to do with you, Mommy" cry and Luke comes to save the day. Noah is truly a guy's guy! And I enjoy it. I get a little time off and Noah gets his father son time.

I thought I would include my favorite pictures of my favorite boys

Aren't they handsome?

Doesn't matter what Luke is doing! For example, here I think he is looking up pictures of "Monster Muleys."

Becoming a tradition... a Sunday afternoon nap.

The first nap. Noah really was small once upon a time!

At the hospital. This is where it all began!

I'm Crooked

So, this isn't a picture of my spine, but it may as well be!
I found out this week that I'm pretty crooked.

It all started last Sunday. I fell down some stairs, a couple of times, and bruised my legs, backside and more. I survived okay until Thursday when I bent over to pick up Noah. We all know, he isn't small, and in trying to pick him up, I kinked my back. I couldn't even stand up straight. A few calls were made and I headed for the chiropractor's as soon as I could.

Friday morning, I had some tests, x-rays, and a little therapy. Monday morning, we took a look at the x-rays with the doctor and found out that my lower back has about a 10 degree curve where it shouldn't. That's where the pain is coming from! And that is why I have begun about two months of physical therapy and adjustments. Thanks to the therapists and doctors at Integrated Wellness, I can move, but this long haul isn't over yet.

I am hoping to get my before and after shots up... stay tuned!

5 months and counting...

Noah...

The last month has been oh so fun! Noah is growing up so fast. At his 4 month appointment Noah weighed 18 lbs. 2 oz., was 27 inches long and had a head circumfrence of 45 inches. In the 97% percentile, growing at this rate he will be my height when he is three!! This growing must slow down sometime!

Noah has been learning to sit up, blow bubbles, splash in the tub, eat cereal, and smile, a lot! This kid has a smile for everybody and it lights up our life. How blessed we are to have such a good natured baby.

Cereal time. He loves this stuff! We are going to move on to vegetables here pretty soon.

A rare smile during tummy time.

Best Buddies

And proud papas, too!Luke and I were so excited to see our friends, Andrew and Kristin, and meet their son Nathan on New Year's Eve. Andrew and Luke went to High School together and were the best of buddies. You should hear the stories they tell! It is such fun that they had a baby boy about six weeks before Noah. In the short time they spent together, they bonded, I'm sure of it!

Noah already has his arm around his new friend.

And holding hands.

Andrew and Luke thought the holding hands thing looked like fun. Hmmm. Seriously, the stories they tell...
Andrew, Kristin and Nathan have relocated to Arizona and just bought a house, which makes it a little more permanent. We miss you!
