One Week

Hello all!

We have made it through our first week as parents of two. Noah is doing surprisingly well as the big brother. He is very interested in the baby and has started giving her kisses. I have tried several times to document this with the camera, but then Noah just looks up and says CHEESE! The only thing he is struggling with is when it is time for me to feed Emma. No matter what I try to distract him with, he wants to sit right next to us (watch, even) and make sure that I have at least a hand, if not an arm, on him.

Emma is doing great and pretty much sleeps around the clock. She is still so tiny, I can't believe it! She is sleeping about four hours at a time at night and that is good enough for me right now.

We are so grateful to all of those that have helped us over the last week with Noah and food, well wishes and prayers. THANK YOU! WE LOVE YOU!

Glad it's going so well. It makes a HUGE difference when you're getting some sort of sleep. That's so funny he wants to watch. I've had that with my kids too. They're so curious. My friends little boy asked her when she was feeding her baby if the baby was eating meat under there! Too funny! Good luck and enjoy this time! It goes by way too fast!

I can't wait for mine. But then I think I can. Hannah will be so much more different then Noah. But in a way she will also help a lot. We loved watching Noah while you were in the hospital. He is a great kid. I hope you guys are coming to dinner on Sunday. I would love to see my cute niece again. She is beautiful.
