Luke and I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our baby boy. On August 3rd, our dreams came true. We went to my doctor's appointment on that Friday morning and even though my due date was still 11 days away, I was ready to have the baby! The doctor sent us to the hospital to check in.We checked in about 11:30 and I was put on Pitocin at about 1:00 p.m. Nothing had changed by 3:00, so they broke my water to
start labor. After what seemed a short two and a half hours of labor, our baby boy was born at 5:27!
start labor. After what seemed a short two and a half hours of labor, our baby boy was born at 5:27! Our baby weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20.5 inches. He was a big boy! We decided on Saturday night to name our son Noah.
Here is a picture with new daddy Luke and Noah after his first bath on Friday night. We had a good stay in the hospital but we were ready to bring Noah home on Sunday!

Hey there! I am SO happy for you guys! I'm sure the last week or so has been the longest and the shortest week of your lives...pretty steep learning curve there, isn't it? I hope that you are all adjusting well and are happy with this little monster that you've created! :) just kidding...sort of...you'll see. I hope you post some new pictures soon! Maybe I'll even be able to stop in in the next week or so for a vistit when I'm down!

Congratulations again and a little late. He looks like a beautiful baby. It sounds like you are made to have babies, so you better have a ton. haha. I can't wait to meet him. I hope the recovery went well and will continue to go well. You are over the worst of it at least. I hope he is sleeping for you!
Waiting, waiting, waiting...I think we are never to hear from the two of you again! We're all dying for another post to see your sweet little boy. How are you doing? How are you adjusting? We'd all love some more news of your lives! :) We need another post!
