San Francisco or BUST!

After much consideration and research, together we decided that Luke should start testing with law enforcement agencies outside of Utah. We have decided to pursue San Francisco! Luke boarded a plane bright and early this morning to head to California. Tomorrow morning, he starts the testing process by taking a written exam and filling out a preliminary background information packet. Then, if all goes well, they will ask him to return in about a month to take more tests.
We are really looking forward to this new potential chapter in our lives. What an adventure it will be to discover new corners of our beautiful earth! We appreciate all the support and love and please keep us (well, really Luke) in your prayers as we start this journey. We will keep you updated!

Our Week
The good news... we are all on the mend! Noah had his 6 month "well" check up yesterday. Lucky for me, they wouldn't give him his vaccines because he was sick. Thank goodness!! We did find out, however, that he has a secondary ear infection and now has to have antibiotics. He's feeling much better today. You can see it in that Noah smile.
Here he is snuggling up with the next best thing to Mom and Dad... Curious George! Thanks, Dylan! He loves it!

Other news to report from the check up... Noah weighed 19 lbs. 12 oz. Actually a loss from the Friday appointment (darn RSV). Dr. Brogli wasn't too upset at this since he is so big anyway :). His head was 47 cm. and he was 27 inches (still). Not too much growth, I knew it would slow down sometime.
The next best thing (after taking care of my boys) I accomplished this week was discovering a new recipe. It's called Beef Bourguignonne. It was a hit at our house! Try it out, you can see this recipe and lots of other yummies at Cobblestone Cooks.
Well, that sums up our week... we are a little out of sorts. Hopefully this coming week will be better!
